Where to start….I guess I’ll start with when I met Whitney and Travis at their engagement session back in January. I got a chance to see just how sweet these two are together. Whitney is one of the most laid back brides I have ever met and Travis is a true southern gentleman. This farm setting was the perfect match for these two and having my fave pair of flats ruined by ankle deep mud and cow manure was completely worth it for the breathtaking hay bale shots we got. Fast forward to this summer and shooting Whit’s bridals with three of her favorite women in tow. We started on the river in Westlake and ended in downtown Lake Charles. The wedding was last weekend and although there were some hiccups during the day, the bride and groom stayed so calm. Having the AC go out in your wedding venue on one of the hottest days in the summer is not ideal but Whit and Travis kept smiles on their faces the whole time and never complained! Seriously, if I didn’t love those two before, they made the top of my favorite couple list with the way they handle the downs of the day with such grace.
