I know, I know…..I’m late to the party. Eli is now 13 weeks old and this day is probably all a blur by now to the Greenes. I’m about 3 months behind on blogging but hey, I’m making an effort here. I’ll just go with {reason for being late: LIFE }. Anyway, as I’m sitting here trying to jog my memory so I can share part of Eli’s birth story, the first thing that pops into my head is THE LAZY EYE. I photographed Stacy and Garrett’s first birth with Eli’s big sister Ava a few years ago. Ava was breach so her birth was a scheduled C section. As most know C sections due to breach babies make you a good candidate for a VBAC(just google it) so that was how Eli’s birth began. For some reason when they administered the epidural, Stacy’s eye started to swell…..or was it droop….I don’t know which it was but the main memory I have of that day is her laughing and looking in the mirror at her lazy eye. No worries, it resolved after a while. Although Eli’s birth also ended in a C section, this one went much better. Mom and baby were both healthy and the whole family could not have been more proud of their new boy.
P.S. Eli’s Aunt Mack’s selfie skills were epic.
