Ah, my adventures in second shooting! Although I normally do not second shoot, I had the best time seconding shooting with my then very pregnant friend Jessica at Jhicks Photography. I’m just now getting around to putting them on the blog but better late than never! As a primary shooter, I usually share the “money shots”. You know, the first kiss, the grand exit, the bridal party, but as a second shooter I mainly just shot the guests partying, the groomsmen, and a few details. Best wedding guests ever. Seriously. They most definitely gave me some material to work with at this reception. Especially Big Kev from Deep South Productions. Killed it on the dance floor Kev. Shout out to the Kellys over at Cajun Cafe for, well, being awesome. So glad I got to meet you both and get a few shots of your crew. Cajun Cafe is my favorite Lake Charles venue. Warm, romantic atmosphere and delicious food! Also, a little back story for the shots in this post of the bridal party popping the champagne. The guy holding the cork literally caught the cork with his fingers about 3 inches from his baby’s face. It was crazy! Dad hero goals.
