Cylee and Gerard’s Brickhouse wedding was quite the wedding to remember. For me it was because my worst photographer nightmare had come true. I got into a car accident after I left The Golden Nugget to go meet the bridal party. I was panicking. Freaking out on the side of the road after being rear ended, trying to rush the police report along because I had an entire wedding party waiting for me. STRESS! Luckily I was out of there in 20 minutes and arrived just after the groomsmen and we were able to jump right into the first look photos. My car was totaled but I didn’t have any serious injuries. I was able to shoot the remaining six hours and experience the party that was the Victoriano wedding. Although for me their wedding might be mostly remembered as the wedding that ended the life of my beloved Cadi (RIP) and almost catapulted me into mini van life (no worries, I chickened out and got another SUV) the guests at the wedding will most likely remember how gorgeous the bride was, the delicious cake, sparkler entrance, crazy dance party (Not sure what the signature dance move was. Was it the pirogue?), photo booth, and the classic car exit. ~~With all of the crazy that ensued after their wedding, I didn’t get a chance to post Cylee’s bridals. We took a road trip to New Orleans and shot at Race and Religious with Cylee and her mom and after shooting we met up with the groom’s mother and had THE best meal at one of my favorite restaurants El Gato Nigro!!
